A helping hand, a bridge to peace
Introduction
Amidst the suffering endured by the Sudanese people, “Bridges for Peace and Development” emerges as a beacon of hope and a helping hand. Established on May 13, 2024, in response to the critical humanitarian situation caused by the armed conflict in Sudan, the organization dedicates its efforts to providing support to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees, promoting the values of peace and tolerance, and building a healthy community.

Mission
To be a bridge for communication and development, connecting the various segments of Sudanese society and contributing to building a better future for coming generations through the provision of humanitarian aid, community empowerment, and the promotion of constructive dialogue.
Main Goals
- Provide urgent humanitarian assistance to IDPs and refugees, meeting their basic needs.
- Protect the rights of refugees and IDPs, advocate for their causes, and ensure their dignity.
- Support peace efforts and community reconciliation in Sudan.
- Build the capacities of local communities and empower them to achieve self-sufficiency.
- Promote sustainable development through sustainable development projects.
